Privilege Club Frequent Flyer Program

The Qatar Airways frequent flyer program is called Privilege Club and offers four membership tiers – Burgundy, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.  The name used for their loyalty currency (i.e frequent flyer miles) is Qmiles.

As with most frequent flyer programs today, there are a variety of ways to earn Qmiles ranging from flying Qatar Airways flights, flying on partner airlines, hotel and car rental bookings, as well as financial services like banks and credit cards and other partners.

The hub airport for Qatar Airways is Hamad International Airport.  This is the primary airport of Doha, the capital city of Qatar.

From Hamad, they connect passengers to 150 international destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania.

Fare Sales, Promo Codes & Deals

The promotional fares apply to major global markets including The United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, Norway, UAE, Hong Kong, Australia, and many other locations.

Qatar Airways promo codes will work on flights that Qatar serves directly, they do not work on Qatar codeshare flights or partner airlines.  The discount will be calculated off the base component of the airfare (taxed and fees are not discounted)

How to Apply a Qatar Promo Code:

Qatar Airways makes it very easy to take advantage of a promotion or discount code.   Just click on the promo code link in the table above, which will take you to the proper booking page, and enter the promo code in the identified field before you search for your flight.   This will then automatically apply the discount to your airfare.  It is that easy!

Economy Class Cabin

Qatar offers one of the best economy-class seat experiences in the industry, including a generous amount of legroom, wider seats, an amenity kit, in-flight entertainment, USB ports, power outlets, and even a personal telephone.

Business Class Cabin

Qatar Airways Business Class was ranked The World’s Best Business Class in both 2016 and 2017 by the Skytrax World Airline Awards.  Their Business Class Offering currently comes in two flavors – Traditional Business Class and the new QSuite Business Class.

Qatar’s new business class offering is called the “QSuite” and is a revolutionary design in that it can be configured differently for a variety of different scenarios.

The QSuite can offer the privacy of an individual business class setting with a raised partition or can be configured in a double suite / double bed configuration for couples.  For those traveling in groups, the QSuite can even be arranged into a four-person configuration for those traveling on business or a family of four (although there aren’t too many families of four that can travel like this!)

First Class Cabin

Qatar offers a first-class product but is really focused on its business class, specifically the new Q Suite configuration, as demand for the “ultra-luxury” market segment declines.  That said, the Qatar first class product definitely provides some additional privacy with its 8-seat location in the front of the A380 upper deck (The A380 is the only plane with first class in the Qatar Airways fleet).

Visa and Passport Requirements

Before you book your flight, make sure you have checked the latest information regarding visa and passport requirements.  Qatar has a form you can fill out and submit to make sure you have the latest information.

If you have to renew or obtain a new passport, make sure you follow the passport application rules, including how to obtain a proper passport photo.  Sometimes it’s the little things that can cause a big headache if you don’t follow to rules.
