How to Earn Points with Hertz
The main way to earn Hertz Gold Rewards points is by renting a car from Hertz. With the Hertz program, you will earn one point per dollar spent on rentals, so a $200 rental will earn 200 base points. On top of the base points, you’ll earn bonus points based on your Hertz elite status level:
- Five Star: 25% bonus = 1.25 points per dollar
- President’s Circle: 50% bonus = 1.5 points per dollar
