Using Wyndham Corporate Codes to get discounted hotel rates is a great way to save up to 30% on your hotel stays.  You just need to be eligible to use the rate code. But don’t worry, you are probably more eligible than you think :).

In this article, we will dig deeper into Wyndham Corporate Codes, including what they are and how to use them. More importantly, we will provide a list of codes that you may be able to use.

What are Hotel Corporate Codes?

In case you aren’t familiar with them, Hotel Corporate Codes are special rate codes that are used to identify the negotiated rate an organization has with a hotel chain (in this case, Wyndham) and are entered in a “Corporate Code” field on the booking page to calculate the reduced rate.

These rates apply to corporate employees, members of certain organizations, universities, and government officials. They can be either local discounts with a specific hotel or national discounts that apply across the entire chain of properties.

If you’re affiliated with an organization that has the negotiated rate in some way (employee, customer, vendor), you can take advantage of these corporate discounts and save a lot of money!

Wyndham Corporate Rates

Corporate discounts will vary from location to location and can be up to 30% off rack rates. Consulting firms like Accenture and IBM have a lot of consultants traveling every week so they are going to have some of the best “chain-wide” or “system-wide” discounts. 

Below is a list of some known Wyndham corporate codes. However, discounted rates with these codes are very hard to find. Since Wyndham doesn’t get the same level of business travel as Hilton or Marriott, they don’t have as many properties that offer corporate rates.

Wyndham University Discounts

The corporate rate table in this article includes both businesses and a couple of universities.  If you are going to be visiting a city that has a major university, you may want to “take a tour of the campus” to do some scouting for a current or future child or grandchild.  If this is the case, search Google for the university’s negotiated travel rates. These rates can offer some pretty nice savings for people on campus tours.

For example, check out this link for what hotel discounts you will find when visiting the University of Miami.  You will see they have a chain-wide discount at Wyndham (20% Off) and Choice Hotels (15% Off), plus a bunch of negotiated rates at individual hotels in the South Florida area.

How to Book with a Wyndham Corporate Code

It’s very easy to determine if a Corporate Code is going to provide a discount for you.  Just go to the Wyndham booking page and enter the code in the corporate code field (pictured below – found via the “Special Rates” drop-down box) and your search will reveal if a discount is available at a given property.

If the corporate rate is not available at that property or on those dates you will get a message stating that the rate is not available.

Identification Requirements when Using a Corporate Code

Most hotel properties would rather sell a discounted room rather than have it sit empty, so they are lax about asking for an ID. 

However, Wyndham does reserve the right to ask for employment verification.  Proof of employment may be verified with a business card or company credit card. If you are not able to show your affiliation with the company, you may be required to pay the full rack rate.

Corporate rates may be available at any of Wyndham’s brands, most of which are mid-tier to budget brands, but they do have a couple of luxury(ish) brands where you can save more with the discount.
