Taking advantage of Hilton Corporate Codes is a great way to make sure you’re getting the best value for each dollar you spend on your hotel stays. You have to be “eligible” to use a Hilton Corporate Code, but if you are, they can significantly reduce the nightly rate.
In this article, we will explore the concept of Hilton corporate codes, how they work, and the different types of codes available to travelers. We will also examine some of the rules, benefits, and limitations of using corporate codes and how they can help you save a bunch of money when staying at a Hilton hotel or resort.
What are Corporate Codes?
In case you aren’t familiar with them, Corporate Discount Codes are codes that are used to identify the negotiated rate a company has with a hotel chain (in this case, Hilton). These codes are entered in a special rate field at the time of booking to determine the nightly rate that a business has negotiated with the hotel chain.
As long as you are affiliated with the company in some way (employee, customer, vendor), you can take advantage of these negotiated rates. Unlike discounts offered through Online Travel Agents (OTA’s), these codes allow you to save money and still earn Hilton Honors Points, allowing you to maximize your travel dollar.
With Hilton, there are two types of corporate codes. The first is a set of codes you can use for business travel during the week (although they often work for weekend travel as well) and the second is specifically geared toward leisure travel for the weekends. We will explain both and provide codes and links you can use.
Hilton Corporate Codes for Business Travel
Below are some of the most popular Corporate Discount Codes for Hilton. If you are an employee of or are going to visit one of these companies for business, you can take advantage of their negotiated rates.
The discount will vary from location to location and can be up to 50% off rack rates. Consulting firms like Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, and IBM have a lot of consultants traveling every week so they are going to have some of the best “chain-wide” or “system-wide” discounts. However, many large corporations have a lot of visitors traveling in for meetings. In this situation, you can often get a great rate on hotels in their local headquarters vicinity – such as Proctor and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ford Motor Company in Detroit, or Harley Davidson in Milwaukee.
Different Codes by Brand
It’s important to note that Hilton can have two different corporate codes for any given company. You’ll need to understand the background of these codes to make sure you use the right code at the right Hilton Brand. Both are listed in the table below and categorized as either “Hilton Code: Acquired Brands” or “Hilton Code: Hilton Brands”.
The codes in the “Acquired Brands” category represent codes associated with DoubleTree, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites, and Home2 Suites.
After all these years I can’t tell you why they haven’t consolidated the corporate codes into one code per company, but I can tell you why they have two codes.
The codes are separate because Hilton decided to maintain the corporate codes that were associated with the brands Hilton acquired from Promus Hotel Corporation in 1999. Therefore, these brands have a different code from the traditional brands Hilton has developed organically.
The codes in the “Hilton Brands” category represent codes associated with traditional and newer Hilton brands such as Hilton Hotels, Conrad, Tapestry, Tru, Waldorf Astoria, Curio Collection, and Hilton Garden Inn.

How to Book with a Hilton Corporate Code (Business Travel)
You will need to enter the company’s specific Hilton corporate discount code in the “Corporate Account” box for the corporate discount to apply. This box can be found when you click on the plus sign in the lower right corner of the booking table, then click on “add special rate codes” to reveal the three special rate code options.

Enter your destination and travel dates, then add the corporate discount code in the Corporate Account box. Click the “find it” button and the hotels that are offering that rate will show up.
As long as you are affiliated with the company in some way (employee, customer, vendor), you can take advantage of the negotiated rate your company has with Hilton and save a lot of money!
An added benefit is that, unlike discounts offered through Online Travel Agents (OTA’s), corporate codes allow you to save money AND receive Hilton Honors Elite Benefits, AND earn Hilton Honors Points.
Hilton Corporate Codes for Leisure Travel
In addition to the codes Hilton provides for business travel, they also have negotiated discounts with a large group of companies for their employees to use for personal travel. The discounts are not as big as the business rates, but they still offer savings off the generally available rates.
Hilton does not have a special name for these rates, but it is essentially the same concept as Marriott’s Breakaway rates.
List of Companies with Discounted Leisure Rates
The Hilton corporate leisure rates do not have codes as the business rates do. Rather, each company has its landing page where you can book and the discount code will be pre-populated.
Below is a list of over 200 companies that have negotiated leisure rates with Hilton. The links in the table will take you to the company’s leisure discount landing page, which includes the specifics of its program and benefits.
