Visit the Emirates’ unique student landing page for booking student flights. Enter your departure and destination airports and the dates of travel.

Make sure the discount code STUDENT is in the “Promotional offers” box before browsing for flights. (This will be auto-populated if you click through the link in the box above)

You will now hit the “search” button to reveal a summary of Emirates flights available for your itinerary. The yellow sun icon indicates which fares will qualify for the student discount. If the student fare is not available the results will say “Not offered”.

You are now ready to book your flight and pay for your ticket. The only thing left to do is to make sure to bring a valid student ID with you to the airport to prove that you are, in fact, a student.

Here are some important terms and conditions of this offer:

• Student fares can only be booked for one student per booking.
• Student fares and benefits cannot be claimed on previously purchased tickets.
• Fares are subject to change without notice. Other restrictions may apply.
• The eligibility period is on or after a passenger’s 16^th birthday and on or before their 31^st birthday.
• Students must be currently enrolled in a higher education institution and must have their student ID or university acceptance letter available upon request at any airport check‑in counter.

Additional Perks with the Emirates Student Fares

Emirates gives students 10 kg more baggage allowance—equivalent to one extra piece. This perk is on top of their already generous checked and carry-on baggage allowances. You also get flexible options to change your flight in case your plans change.

Are you Eligible?

Emirates student flight discount is only available for full-time students between 16 to 31 years old at the time of the outbound travel date.

When you go to the airport and check in to board your flight, Emirates requires you to present the following:

• A valid student ID, or
• A school acceptance letter

If you cannot provide valid student identification when you go to the airport to check in, you won’t be able to get the student discount and its benefits. You will be issued a new ticket at the cost of the applicable fare on the day of departure.

International Student Identity Card

The ISIC or International Student Identity Card is a card issued by the ISIC Association and endorsed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Anyone can avail of an ISIC card—as long as you are a student. With an ISIC card, students can access various discounts for products and services worldwide. Several airlines around the world have partnered with ISIC to give students discounts, and Emirates is one of them.

If you have an International Student Identity Card (ISIC), you can get exclusive airfare deals across over 140 travel destinations. You’ll get up to a 10% discount on Saver, Flex, Flex Plus Economy, and Business Class. You’ll also get additional baggage on top of the standard allowance and a free date change up until seven days before travel.

All you need to do is verify your ISIC card via their website, and you will get a unique code to grant you access to Emirates’ offer to ISIC students.

Validity Period

The student flight discount offer is valid for travel for 12 months for Flex and Flex Plus fares. If you are booking trips under Saver fares, it is valid for six months.

If you have to make date changes, you get to make free date changes for Flex and Flex Plus fares. For those under Saver fares, there is a fee of $50 to change the date. Additional charges apply in case of a no-show or cancellation.
