How are Wyndham Rewards Points Calculated?

Here is the background on how the number of points you earn per stay is calculated.

Base Rate & Eligible Charges:

For every qualified stay at a Wyndham Rewards hotel or vacation club resort, you’ll earn 10 points per dollar or 1,000 points—whichever is more.

Elite Status

Gold, Platinum and Diamond Members can receive Accelerated Earning Points on each Qualified Stay, which will be calculated as a percentage of the number of Base Points:

Gold Level Members – 10% Bonus
Platinum Level Members – 15% Bonus
Diamond Level Members – 20% Bonus

Paying with an Wyndham Co-Branded Credit Card

If you use a Wyndham Co-Branded credit card to pay your bill, you earn Bonus Wyndham Rewards Points for the entire cost of your bill, not just the base room rate.

So while you don't earn base Wyndham points for things like taxes, fees and anything else you charge to your room, you will earn points for those items when you pay with an Wyndham credit card.
